PA & CB Plate

What is the difference btw a PA plate and CB plate...?
Is it the difference btw registration under Pte and company's name...?

bro, PA plate need COE while CB plate dun need COE..

so for instance a mini bus registered with CB plate, can drive straight for 20 years while PA plate after 10 years need to renew.

but the problem with CB plate is every year need to submit school children name list to LTA if not will kena fine i tink..while PA if u neva fetch children itz ok dun need to submit.

But both plates can be register under Pte owner name?

yup...own name can..but for PA is class under private bus or excursion bus den cannot...that one need company name..

else Private Hire Bus can, like ket's hi roof can register under his name.

fail to submit name list, den LTA will not allow the bus to be on the road...

no min quota la..but the name list must have the sch's principal to sign...

tat one is AWC permit..without this permit..we are not able to fetch workers...hence need to apply for it..but for PA dun need

Cos in my co' there is 1 driver told me that around end 2014 or early 2015, he went to agent and buy this new model. But agent don't want to release cos they want to clear the 100 model.
So he LL and went for Pi.

But just to be double check frm dealer.
Cos I came across in another thread, some member here said that Pi model in sg is been use in japan.

from the pic posted..looks like PI model...coz PI model the side mirror and the bumper is different from agent model. agent model's speedo got RPM while PI ones dun have.

E old PI n agent rear bumper also diff. You selling off your bus?

Off topic abit, wats the mscp cost for kdh200 PA vanner? 90 or 180?
